Moles Creative Writing Group: 2011

These are the stories, for what they are worth, that I have written so far for the Moles Creative Writing Group during 2011.

January 25th	Robert	Traditional story-telling without script or notes	My Only Visit to Turkey I thought it best, if I had to tell a story from memory, that I relate something that actually happened to me.
February 22nd	Wendy	Valentine story/ Romantic story	Omnia Vincit Amor A jailer's daughter remembers Valentine.
March 22nd	Ann	Story inspired by a topical news item	Hiroshi's Search I did not find this easy as the main topics of news were so depressing. The events in Japan, however, simply could not be ignored. All the characters and events are fictious, though much was inspired by actual happenings.
April 26th	Desmond	Story inspired by an historical event	Sextus, Marcus & Gaius After several abandoned attempts with historic events at different times in different places, I settled in ancient Rome as the three eponymous chums were having lunch.
May 24th	Sylvia	Prolog/ Sequel to a well known story	Linda I chose to do both a sequel and a prolog. Like Timmy Turner, Linda's parents are fairly odd, though the poem only describes her mother that way. However, Linda's bullying is still in the future; but we can sure that her "fairly odd mamma" will put a stop to that one day.
June 28th	Pat	Futuristic	A Day in June in the Late 21st Century The story is partly inspired by the well-known "Somewhere, something went terribly wrong"; but there many other ideas in it also.
July 26th	Jenny	Birthdays	Tommy's Birthdays Tommy did not like birthdays; then one day that all changed.
No meeting during August
September 27th	Rehearsal of own choice for the 'Arts Alive' event next month.
October 25th	'Arts Alive 2011.'
November 22nd	Ray	Memoir/ Reminiscence	Bob Reminisces Not the story I had planned to write; but once I began the story seemed to assume a life of its own and 'write itself' .
December 13th	Desmond	Ghost story	Sam's Friend A Christmas ghost story in which Sam discovers it is only imaginary ghosts that are scary.
