July 25th	Wendy	Wedding	No written piece this month. I was unable to attend the meeting as I was traveling back from my grandson's wedding in south Wales that afternoon. If I had returned in time, I would have given an extempore account of four weddings!
August 22nd	Members only: lunch party at Sylvia's, followed by readings from either one of our own works not presented to the Moles before or from that of another author.		Under what circumstances would southern Britain have become Romance speaking? An essay rather than a story, outlining the conditions under which an alternative history of Britain could have diverged in the 5th century.
September 26th	Sylvia	Rehearsal/ arranging of own choices for the 'Arts Alive' event next month..
October 24th	'Mole Valley Arts Alive 2017.'		I read "Boys' Night Out", a slightly shortened version of the story I read in November of last year, and "Maisie and the Herald" which I wrote last December before* Theresa May had invoked Article 50 and all we had been told was that Brexit meant Brexit and that it would be a red, white and blue Brexit.*
