1. Introduction
As we noted in Morphology 1, Brx morpheme dividers allow strings of morphemes to be unambiguously written without the need for 'white space' as a separator; this is obviously helpful in a briefscript. It means there is in effect no formal written distinction in Brx between a particle, an adposition or an affix; we shall consider this further on this page.
We have seen that Brx has no inflexional affixes; we need to consider whether it has derivational affixes and what consitutes compound nouns and verbs.
